Everyday we learn more and more that our pets dental health affects their quality of life. As dental disease progresses, more bacteria accumulates and travels down to other organ systems like the heart, lungs, liver, and kidneys. Advanced periodontal disease commonly causes oral pain that goes unnoticed. Maintaining healthy teeth on your dog and cat not only makes them a happier and more comfortable pet, it also has been shown to extend their life expectancy. We offer complete dental cleanings as well as full mouth radiology and tooth extractions if necessary. We use digital dental radiagraphy to asses dental disease in your pets mouth and it allows for immediate assessment of teeth that may have disease that wouldn't readily be apparent on physical exam. We have taken many hours of continuing education to help our team deal with the many dental problems that we can encounter.
